We’ve all heard the standard recommendation… If you want to lose body fat you should spend at least 30-45 minutes at a lower heart rate making sure to stay in your “fat-burning” zone. It is true that you burn a greater percentage of calories from fat at a lower heart rate. However, the numbers may be misleading.
