For long time Monmouth County resident Heather Bunge, fitness has always been about more than exercise — it’s about community, connection, and feeling at home. After years of enjoying group fitness classes and building friendships at her local gym in Middletown, Heather was unsure she would find that same welcoming atmosphere after relocating to Highlands in 2021.
Those concerns quickly disappeared the moment she walked through the doors of Eastpointe. From the warm welcome from Mandy at the front desk, to the encouragement to explore new classes, Heather immediately felt a sense of belonging.
Today, some of her favorite classes include yoga with Nancy, where she appreciates the supportive instruction, thoughtful modifications, and calming music that help her start the day feeling strong and centered. She also loves GroupActive with Michelle and Rachel, enjoying the combination of step work, strength training, balance, and core exercises that leave her feeling energized after every session.
Beyond the workouts, Heather says the people are what truly make Eastpointe special. The friendly instructors, supportive members, and positive environment make coming to the gym something she looks forward to each day.
Heather is grateful to have found not just a fitness center, but a community at Eastpointe Health & Fitness.
