60 Pounds Lost, Confidence Gained: How Eastpointe Changed Everything

Three years ago, when she first walked through the doors of Eastpointe Health & Fitness, Donna knew something needed to change. While she had been staying active with cardio workouts, her nutrition habits weren’t supporting her goals, and she had a significant amount of weight she wanted to lose.

Donna’s journey began by joining one of Eastpointe’s Spring Challenges. Determined to make the most of the experience, she selected the top challenge package, which included personalized nutrition coaching with Katy. Through daily check-ins on MyFitnessPal, Katy provided accountability, guidance, and encouragement that quickly became a game changer. Combined with the support of Eastpointe’s trainers and community, Donna finally found a program that worked.

The results from that first challenge were remarkable and provided the motivation she needed to keep going. Over the next three years, Donna became a dedicated Eastpointe member and continued participating in every challenge opportunity available.  Donna’s goals were straightforward: lose weight, build strength, and improve her cholesterol numbers. Today, she is proud to say he has achieved all three.

Donna has lost an incredible 60 pounds, is stronger than ever, and has developed a sustainable lifestyle that continues to move her closer to her ultimate goal weight. What once seemed out of reach is now completely attainable.

But the transformation goes far beyond the number on the scale.

Through her time at Eastpointe, she has gained confidence, developed healthier habits, and learned how to maintain balance. Clean eating and regular exercise have become part of Donna’s everyday life, and she understands that occasional indulgences are simply part of a healthy, sustainable approach. As she puts it, “It’s truly a lifestyle, not a diet.”

One of the biggest contributors to Donna’s success has been the Eastpointe community. The support, encouragement, and accountability she received from both coaches and fellow members helped her stay committed not only in the gym but also in the kitchen.

Today, Donna is healthier, stronger, and more confident than she has ever been, proving that with the right support system and a commitment to change, lasting transformation is possible.
