Dr. Jay Mazzella
DC Clinical Director
Dr. John Mazzella graduated from Georgia's Life College in 1991. He has been practicing Chiropractic ever since, including 7 years in Australia. Dr. Mazzella is a Jersey Shore native, caring for his community's wellness. After years of practicing his art in many different areas, he has found a home inside the Eastpointe Health and Fitness Center. 'Dr. Jay,' as he is known to his patients, believes in 'patient first' care. He believes in educating patients as to the cause of their problem, making honest and clear recommendations and then honoring whichever choice the patient makes. In terms of what type and how much care they receive, this 'we don't push' philosophy has kept many patients happy over the years while they confidently refer their family and friends.
Dan has been working in this field since 2002. He is a graduate of Somerset School of Massage Therapy in Piscataway, NJ and Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, NJ. He is New York State licensed, nationally certified in therapeutic massage and body work, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Dan is also certified in neuromuscular therapy and a reiki practitioner. Along with being a past member of A.M.T.A. New Jersey sports massage team, his work experience includes top hotels, salons and spas, health expos, sporting events, and corporate chair massage.
Dr. Louis (Lou) F. Diodato III D.C., L.Ac.
Dr. Lou is a life-long resident of Monmouth County and attended Middletown Township High School. He then served in the US Army during the Vietnam era conflict and was trained as a Combat Medic and X-Ray Technician at the Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio, Texas.
In 1981, Dr. Lou attended and received a BS from Excelsior College in New York. He then attended Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, SC where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating with honors. In addition, he attended the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Montclair, NJ, completing their Master’s Degree Program in Acupuncture. He has been awarded Diplomat status from the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine), as well as an NJ state license to practice Acupuncture.
Since then he has received post graduate certification from Sloan-Kettering Rockefeller Research Institute in NYC for ‘Acupuncture and the Cancer Patient’. In addition, he is certified in Facial Rejuvenation/Cosmetic Acupuncture, Acupuncture for Chronic Pain Management, Treatment of Substance Abuse and Addictions, Treatment of Endocrine Disorders, Treatment of Musculoskeletal/Sport Injuries, Treatment for “Shen Disturbances”/Psychological Disorders and Treatment of Infertility.
He is currently a member of the Southern Medical Association, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, and has been awarded Diplomat status by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is presently licensed as a Chiropractic Physician in NJ, Washington DC, SC and FL.
Dr. Kevin Lyons
Dr. Lyons has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Acupuncture, and Oriental Medicine.
An experienced and compassionate acupuncturist, Dr. Lyons believes that comprehensive analyses and proactive treatment are key in achieving optimal health and wellness. Couple that with a dash of kindness and a healthy level of accountability, and the path to healthy living is ever closer.
In addition to providing exceptional care to his patients, Dr. Lyons enjoys yoga, hiking and biking, and running on the beach with pup.

Dr. Laura Anastasia
Director of Physical Therapy
Dr. Laura Anastasia graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. She later went on to receive a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. After graduating, Laura worked at an outpatient sports rehab setting in Westchester NY but inevitably, her love for the Jersey shore brought her back home. Laura has continued to work in outpatient orthopedic settings while honing her skills through evidence-based courses in advanced manual techniques. She utilizes instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) as part of her treatment approach; a technique to break up scar tissue and re-initiate the healing process. Laura’s treatment philosophy focuses on looking at the patient as a whole and she tailors each treatment program specific to the individual to maximize patient recovery and outcomes.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, especially their newest addition Sienna June. Laura has a passion for travel, a love for the outdoors, including the beach, hiking the mountains, and snowboarding.
Dr. John Crawford
Dr. John Crawford received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University, Marietta, GA in December 1996. He obtained a Bachelors of Arts from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV in 1992. Before college, he attended Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. Upon obtaining his NJ Chiropractic license, Dr. John began to practice in Red Bank, NJ until 2000 when he had the opportunity to practice for a year in St. Thomas, USVI. Once returning back to the states he opened Crawford Chiropractic Clinic in Lanoka Harbor, NJ before joining Eastpointe Health and Fitness in December 2009. Dr. John's focus is making sure the patient is comfortable with the care and feels positive about their progress. His background ensures you will have the best opportunity to get the most out of your health and well being, regardless of your specific condition or stage in life. Feel confident in the fact that a program will be tailored just for you based on your specific needs and circumstances.
Tan Wai Hui
Tan Wai Hui graduated Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture in 2018 with high honors and has a Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and a Masters in Chinese Herbology. He has a passion for treating orthopedic conditions, post-op cases, and neuromuscular diseases. He specializes in scalp acupuncture which is highly effective in treating conditions such as post stroke patients, multiple sclerosis (MS), and peripheral neuropathy. His hobbies include working out, hiking/camping, playing the guitar, and spending time with family.
Dr. Marc Razzano
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Marc Razzano graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He then went on to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the City University of New York. Dr. Razzano has been working in an outpatient setting for the last 4 years and utilizes IASTM. He is also a certified Kinesiotape practitioner.
Dr. Razzano used to play travel ice hockey for 14 years. Now in his free time he enjoys going to the gym and the beach.
Dr. Abby Cabalfin
Dr. Abby Cabalfin graduated from Rutgers University in 2007 with a BS in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2011. She is currently a certified Sports Performance coach through USA-W and is also certified in RockTape and RockBlades through FMS. She utilizes the knowledge she gained from Neurokinetic Therapy and Postural Restoration to create individualized treatment programs designed to return patients to a healthy, active lifestyle.
Abby has a background in volleyball, track, and ballet and currently stays active through weightlifting, running, yoga, indoor cycling on her Peloton, and snowboarding.
Dr. Lauren Ramondi
Physical Therapist Assistant
Zalak Soni graduated from Kean University in 2010 with a B.A. in Biology. She furthered her education at Union County College and graduated in May 2013 as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has experience with working in orthopedic outpatient and sub-acute settings. Zalak continues to sharpen her treatment techniques by taking various courses throughout the year.

Kristina is a State Certified Massage Therapist, who graduated from Ocean County Massage and Wellness Institute in 2006. For Kristina, bodywork is life's passion and not just a job. She believes massage is such an important part of being healthy, and she loves to help others experience recovery from pain and stress. Kristina puts many hours in training in various modalities, which allows for a wide range of treatment options which consist of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, pregnancy massage, and reflexology massage.
